Laura Scott Cary

ABOUT

Laura Scott (that’s her first name, uh-huh) is a New York City–based actor and writer. Originally from North Carolina, she received her BFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.

She wants to play all the women in The Seagull (at separate times, although all at once would be cool too), learn how to scuba dive, rescue a shelter dog, and work with Luca Guadagnino. She loves the poems of Mary Oliver, the NYT cooking app, and taking pictures of the sky.

More than anything, Laura Scott dreams of telling innovative, empathy-driven stories and participating in caring, creative communities. And if she can make people laugh, cry, and care in the process, that’s even better.
